I’ve have many family members and friends that are veterans, and I know many of the people I’ve worked with in front of my camera have heard the call of duty. Many of the children of my friends are veterans or currently serving. I do hope that within a generation or two we will, while still honoring veterans and others who have served our country, not celebrate war but celebrate peace. Today is the day we thank those veterans who have given of themselves for the safety, protection, and to ensure the rights of others. I thank you for that and I would hope to tell your families thank you for understanding what your loved one does.
