If you get a text, email, or call saying you need to secure your wireless account due to port out scam, DO NOT CLICK THE LINK. It will often look similar to your carrier, but a different domain extension (instead of tmobile.com it might be tmobile.io)

You should contact your wireless carrier and set up a PORT OUT VALIDATION PIN.

The scam is simple and effective. It’s been going a while but is seeing a large resurgence. Check this for what they are doing:
